Stop Lawsuits / Garnishments

As soon as your Bankruptcy case is filed you receive the Automatic Stay of Proceeding. That means if you are being garnished - the bankruptcy stops the creditor from taking your money!

If you are being sued for medical bills or credit card debt, that must stop as well. (Most lawsuits must stop when you file your bankruptcy.)

Likewise if there is a hearing scheduled due to a lawsuit - that hearing must be canceled as well.

If you are being garnished, it is important that you file your case right away. The sooner you do, the greater the chance we can get back the money that was taken from you.
